Honored to have been profiled for Vocal Media's Black Business Month 'Visionary Women Spotlight' segment by Tammy Reese who has interviewed the likes of Angela Bassett.

I am honored whenever I receive any press but I particularly honored when it is regards to Black media or Black business.

L'Officiel Brazil EdITORIAL STARRING LADY PARIS SMITH

New work incoming. I styled this L’Officiel Brazil editorial starring TV star and model Lady Paris Smith as shot by Zuzu Valla.

Below is the editorial article as translated from Portuguese to English -

In an exclusive fashion editorial, the western vibe takes on a new layer of boldness, sensuality and style. Paris Smith, the star of Made in Chelsea, showed off her innate connection with horses in a harmonious fusion. Dressed in elegant riding attire that perfectly complemented her chic aesthetic, Paris aligned herself with the majestic presence of the horses, celebrating her fashion sensibility, her genuine passion for this world and her ability to transcend the limits of reality TV stardom. With a picturesque background, Zuzu Valla's shots and Marian Kwei's styling take the productions to a new level. With classic country elements, the western trend is the perfect bet to attract all eyes and elevate any look from basic to extraordinary in the coming seasons. Get inspired!

It was such a pleasure working with Lady Paris and Zuzu is always a dream to shoot with.

10th Floor Have The Midas Touch

Last night at the Identity Lingerie launch at The Wedding Club I wore these gifted gold mules by 10th Floor. I bumped into the fabulous Lady Paris who was also wearing metallic heels.

How cute are we? Don’t you just love her dress?

I am obsessed with these mules by 10th Floor. They make the best heels. I like to think that girls have more fun in their footwear.

Mothers' Instinct Mitchell Travers Interview

I have loved the work of Mitchell Travers the costume designer. It is thus an honour to interview him with reference to his work on Benoit Delhomme’s drama thriller Mothers’ Instinct.

The film will make you want to dress like a 60s girl. The costume is sumptuous and Travers told me all about it,

Designers Guild Up Your Space

I have loved Designers Guild for a long time. Their the luxury brand for contemporary interiors. I approach interiors as I do my personal style. I think you must live surrounded in things that you love the look of.

I decided to decorate my sitting room in various shades of red. Over time this has been extended to the rest of my home.

What I love about red is how vibrant it is. It is my favourite colour.

I am delighted to add this cushion. The Le Jardin Feerique multicolore cushion by Christian Lacroix is everything that I love and more. The rich detail of flora, fauna and charm is a joy. I like the pops of red such as a ladybug and berries as seen below. It is printed on a silk cotton satin.

I think the best homes are the mix of the aspirational such as this cushion cover and the comfortable. I have long loved the work of Christian Lacroix. All that he entails in a cushion cover is a joy. I like what this cushion does for my space.

Is the cushion cover not an absolute dream?

In addition to this cushion cover I have added another feature from Designers Guild to my home. It is the Moselle linen waffle towels. I have loved the luxury of linen sheets and towels for ages. These are very special. They come in 11 shades and mine are the coral.

It is not only their softness and absorbency that compels but also the exact hue. There is a strawberry redness about them that is perfection. It comes in options of hand towel, large bath towel and a bath sheet. It is made of pure linen. Pure luxury.

I think the best in luxury interior decor are only as great as their ability to allow you the freedom to let your spaces be you as aspirationally as possible. This is what Designers Guild is excellent at.

The towels are available here from £22.50 and the cushion here. on sale from £120 to £108. These products were gifted by Designers Guild.

Pieter Mulier Continues To Make Azzedine Alaïa Proud

As a fashion expert and editorial director nothing gladdens me more than seeing work like this.

Alaïa summer fall 2024 is breathtaking. Creative director Pieter Mulier understands and respects codes of the fashion and the vision of the late founder Azzedine Alaïa but still moves the house forward. The duality is wonderful to see.

The purity of this collection is reiterated by the simplicity of the designs.

Bravo to Pieter.

The collection is all made from wool.

Balmain Has Bite: Balmain Mens Fall 2024

Photos: Balmain

How interesting is it to see Olivier Rousteing explore glimpses of surrealism with his mens fall 2024 offering.

Elements of the face make clever cameos through prints, strong ornaments and accessories. It is fun, eccentric and boasts bold individuality.

Burberry Her Petals Eau De Parfum

This is perhaps the dreamiest perfume I have ever encountered. The sweetness of crushed berries has been paired with floral notes of violet and jasmine. It does not stop there. It is rounded up with wood and creamy amber. It is also in an archive glass bottle design with floating pink petals.

I am personally a fan of violet and jasmine floral notes. I am also a a fan of the beautiful. It is not a surprise then that I am quite taken with this perfume by Burberry.

Do you layer your perfumes? Layering ones fragrances is the best beauty discovery I made. This perfume is perfect for that or to be worn on its own.

Gucci Gloss à Lèvres

If I am going to wear lip gloss, make it Gucci.

Gucci Gloss à Lèvres plumping lip gloss to be exact.

I love how plumping and smoothing it feels. It also feels moisturising on.

It comes in a variety of six shades and retails at £33.

My favourite shade name is Teresina Red. This is seen in the video on the model wearing orange.

With this range it is sheer with a light tint of colour. There is one called Roslyn Clair with no colour tint. It is as clear as its name suggests.

If you are going to wear lip gloss, make it Gucci.

It is available exclusively at Selfridges, Buy it here.

Rosamund Pike Golden Globes 2024

My best dressed at the Golden Globes 2024 is Saltburn actress Rosamund Pike.

The beautiful actress wore Dior. The lace a-line gown was paired with a face veil accessory which was initially meant to act as a protective accessory following a recent ski accident. Even though she no longer needed it for those reasons she wore it nonetheless. The headpiece is by Philip Treacy.

Rosamund looked a dream.
