Coty Infiniment Paris Launch Party

I attended the London launch party of Infiniment Coty Paris last week. The set of 14 perfumes is now available in London at Liberty and my favourite, Or De Moi has notes of Tuberose and Chypre Accord.

The perfumes blend art, science and emotion. The Infiniment Coty Paris offactive experience is like none other. Discover the perfumes here.

Pearl Lowe Interview

I have been a Pearl Lowe fan for as long as I remember. It is her style and perspective on fashion. The icon and fashion designer has a new lingerie collection. It is her first lingerie collection. It is all black lace and I am excited about it.

I am even more excited that I got to interview her about it for my fashion, beauty, culture and lifestyle magazine, Story Magazine.

She shares all about the collection. Read about it here.

10th Floor Have The Midas Touch

Last night at the Identity Lingerie launch at The Wedding Club I wore these gifted gold mules by 10th Floor. I bumped into the fabulous Lady Paris who was also wearing metallic heels.

How cute are we? Don’t you just love her dress?

I am obsessed with these mules by 10th Floor. They make the best heels. I like to think that girls have more fun in their footwear.

Discover them here.

Mothers' Instinct Mitchell Travers Interview

I have loved the work of Mitchell Travers the costume designer. It is thus an honour to interview him with reference to his work on Benoit Delhomme’s drama thriller Mothers’ Instinct.

The film will make you want to dress like a 60s girl. The costume is sumptuous and Travers told me all about it,

Grazia Trousers On Highstreet That Fit Article

I am a fashion journalist and I write for magazines. I wrote an article for Grazia on the trousers on the highstreet that fit someone 6ft tall like me. Finding trousers that fit when you are over 5ft9 can be challenging so the piece is to empower tall women by giving them options.

The article is called “I’m Over 6ft Tall And These Are The Trousers On The High Street That Actually Fit”.

Designers Guild Up Your Space

I have loved Designers Guild for a long time. Their the luxury brand for contemporary interiors. I approach interiors as I do my personal style. I think you must live surrounded in things that you love the look of.

I decided to decorate my sitting room in various shades of red. Over time this has been extended to the rest of my home.

What I love about red is how vibrant it is. It is my favourite colour.

I am delighted to add this cushion. The Le Jardin Feerique multicolore cushion by Christian Lacroix is everything that I love and more. The rich detail of flora, fauna and charm is a joy. I like the pops of red such as a ladybug and berries as seen below. It is printed on a silk cotton satin.

I think the best homes are the mix of the aspirational such as this cushion cover and the comfortable. I have long loved the work of Christian Lacroix. All that he entails in a cushion cover is a joy. I like what this cushion does for my space.

Is the cushion cover not an absolute dream?

In addition to this cushion cover I have added another feature from Designers Guild to my home. It is the Moselle linen waffle towels. I have loved the luxury of linen sheets and towels for ages. These are very special. They come in 11 shades and mine are the coral.

It is not only their softness and absorbency that compels but also the exact hue. There is a strawberry redness about them that is perfection. It comes in options of hand towel, large bath towel and a bath sheet. It is made of pure linen. Pure luxury.

I think the best in luxury interior decor are only as great as their ability to allow you the freedom to let your spaces be you as aspirationally as possible. This is what Designers Guild is excellent at.

The towels are available here from £22.50 and the cushion here. on sale from £120 to £108. These products were gifted by Designers Guild.

Pieter Mulier Continues To Make Azzedine Alaïa Proud

As a fashion expert and editorial director nothing gladdens me more than seeing work like this.

Alaïa summer fall 2024 is breathtaking. Creative director Pieter Mulier understands and respects codes of the fashion and the vision of the late founder Azzedine Alaïa but still moves the house forward. The duality is wonderful to see.

The purity of this collection is reiterated by the simplicity of the designs.

Bravo to Pieter.

The collection is all made from wool.

Balmain Has Bite: Balmain Mens Fall 2024

Photos: Balmain

How interesting is it to see Olivier Rousteing explore glimpses of surrealism with his mens fall 2024 offering.

Elements of the face make clever cameos through prints, strong ornaments and accessories. It is fun, eccentric and boasts bold individuality.

Burberry Her Petals Eau De Parfum

This is perhaps the dreamiest perfume I have ever encountered. The sweetness of crushed berries has been paired with floral notes of violet and jasmine. It does not stop there. It is rounded up with wood and creamy amber. It is also in an archive glass bottle design with floating pink petals.

I am personally a fan of violet and jasmine floral notes. I am also a a fan of the beautiful. It is not a surprise then that I am quite taken with this perfume by Burberry.

Do you layer your perfumes? Layering ones fragrances is the best beauty discovery I made. This perfume is perfect for that or to be worn on its own.

Gucci Gloss à Lèvres

If I am going to wear lip gloss, make it Gucci.

Gucci Gloss à Lèvres plumping lip gloss to be exact.

I love how plumping and smoothing it feels. It also feels moisturising on.

It comes in a variety of six shades and retails at £33.

My favourite shade name is Teresina Red. This is seen in the video on the model wearing orange.

With this range it is sheer with a light tint of colour. There is one called Roslyn Clair with no colour tint. It is as clear as its name suggests.

If you are going to wear lip gloss, make it Gucci.

It is available exclusively at Selfridges, Buy it here.

Rosamund Pike Golden Globes 2024

My best dressed at the Golden Globes 2024 is Saltburn actress Rosamund Pike.

The beautiful actress wore Dior. The lace a-line gown was paired with a face veil accessory which was initially meant to act as a protective accessory following a recent ski accident. Even though she no longer needed it for those reasons she wore it nonetheless. The headpiece is by Philip Treacy.

Rosamund looked a dream.

Flannels Renaissance Flagship Store

Photos: Kris Humpreys

Luxury retailer Flannels in London, Sheffield and Liverpool was recently home to the second edition of the beautiful RENAISSANCE Flagship Store. This time was in conjunction with 'Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce'.

I had a chance to visit the London edition. The stores were inspired by Beyonce's incredible Renaissance tour wardrobe extravaganza. The prevalence of chrome and glitter in the popup was in keeping with the Renaissance Tour approved dress code of silver.

I have been obsessed with @beyonce 's Renaissance World Tour horse which was a part of the space!

My takeaway from this? The bigger and the more silver the better.

I would not mind having this horse in my sitting room. Who wouldn't?

Delfina Delettrez Two In One Collection

I am excited by the ‘Two In One’ Delfina Delettrez diamond jewellery collection. The diamonds are drilled by precious miniature piercing.

I like the juxtaposition of luxury (the diamonds) and punk (the piercings).

Would you wear them? I certainly would. I like that is bringing something that feels fresh to the table.

Vogue House

Photo: British Vogue, November 2023. Photography by Sean Thomas.

British Vogue had a star-studded house party as it bids Vogue House adieu. The November 2023 issue sees a line-up of designers, models and actors visit Vogue House one more time. Shakira, Gemma Chan, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Adwoa Aboah, Cara Delevingne and many others are were photographed for this last goodbye to the building that has housed British Vogue since 1958.

I love the pizzaz of this issue; it is big, bold and beautiful. Just when you think it is impossible to get any more glamorous then another superstar is unveiled on yet another page.

One of the covers for this issue has model duo Karen Elson and Mona Tougaard and it is my favourite Vogue cover for 2023.

Bravo to Edward Enninful, OBE.

BSME Awards 2023

Photos: Jason Purple

The British Society of Magazine Editors awards 2023 gala was such a wonderful night.

Known as the Oscars of the magazine world, it was held at five star hotel Rosewood London and the hosts this year were British Glamour Magazine's editor-in-chief Deborah Joseph and presenter/broadcaster and journalist Vick Hope. Presenters included Laura Whitmore, Caitlin Moran and Naomi Campbell . Supermodel Naomi Campbell presented the penultimate award of the night, The Mark Boxer award to friend of 30 years Edward Enninful OBE, editor-in-chief of British Vogue. Congrats to him because representation matters and that has been his life work.

The gala involved a 3 course meal with entertainment from a live jazz band. Other highlights included live illustration sessions which saw award nominees receive illustrations as made on the night.

For the black tie and for this I was privileged to be dressed by Ana Sekularac in a black tulle gown seen in image one. I've worn Ana’s designs for some of my most special moments. Thanks to her for dressing me. Discover her work at @anasekularac.

Sally Hansen Festive Manicure

Celebrity nail artist Michelle Class has worked with some amazing celebrities like Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Margot Robbie and Bella Hadid to name a few.

So imagine my delight at having a Sally Hansen UK festive manicure with her today at 1 Hotel Mayfair courtesy of Coty Uk. She is ambassador of Sally Hansen and in response to my query about her thoughts on the brand and her favourites she shared the below -
