So I have never been to Ireland but over years have made a lot of Irish friends who raved about their homeland. So when the opportunity to visit the emerald isle came up I wasn't going to say no.
My husband's school friend was getting married to an Irish lady so we boarded the Ryan air flight (delayed)! And landed in beautiful Cork.
We stayed at the wonderful Maryborough hotel and spa and were treated with the warmest welcome.

I a fab time in Ireland and would definitely visit again. It was nice to have a weekend away with the hubby but I was glad to get back to my boys.
