So I have never been to Ireland but over years have made a lot of Irish friends who raved about their homeland. So when the opportunity to visit the emerald isle came up I wasn't going to say no.
My husband's school friend was getting married to an Irish lady so we boarded the Ryan air flight (delayed)! And landed in beautiful Cork.
We stayed at the wonderful Maryborough hotel and spa and were treated with the warmest welcome.

A collection that crossed the cultural reference points of Africa and Europe was called "world map" by the designer. Artists like Mickalene Thomas were invited to collaborate.
